Sara completed her Bachelor of Medical Sciences in 2016, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2018, and recently earned her Master of Nursing – Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner from Western University. With over seven years of acute care nursing experience and specialized training in managing care for complex and diverse patient populations, she is dedicated to delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based primary care.

A UTI can cause burning when you p*e, constant urgency, pelvic pain, and even fever if it spreads. They’re common — especially in women — and can worsen quickly without treatment.

💡 If you’re prone to UTIs, prevention matters:

-Drink plenty of water to flush bacteria

-Don’t hold your urine for long periods

-Avoid harsh soaps or scented feminine products

Don't have a family doctor? Or do you know/care for someone who doesn't?

The Elgin Community Health Hub can help.

This clinic is part of the Thames Valley Family Health Team and can assist you with a variety of health services if you don't have a family doctor or primary care Nurse Practitioner (NP).

You do not need to be connected to the Thames Valley Family Health Team to book an appointment, you just need to live locally and not have access to a family doctor or NP.
