Great advice from Chatham Urology to remember for any health care clinic where you receive care.

We hear it all the time…

ā€œBut I didn’t get a text messageā€
ā€œBut I didn’t get an emailā€
ā€œBut I don’t check my voicemailā€
ā€œI don’t answer private or unknown callersā€
ā€œWhat’s a mailbox?ā€

We truly do everything we can to make your appointment experience smooth, clear, and stress-free.

Help us help you:
• Add our office to your contacts/safe list
• Check your junk or spam folder and mark us as a safe sender

Our waitlists are long, and every appointment matters—not just for you, but for others waiting to be seen.

Please note:
• It is the patient’s responsibility to confirm their appointment and keep track of their appointment details
• Appointments must be confirmed at least 7 days in advance, or they may be rescheduled
• We ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any changes or rescheduling
• Required labs or diagnostic testing must be completed ahead of time, or your appointment may be rescheduled
• Missed (no-show) appointments are subject to a fee, payable prior to rebooking. Fees may vary depending on the office and appointment type
• If you can’t make your appointment, let us know as soon as possible—we’re happy to rebook you and offer your spot to someone in need

A little communication and courtesy go a long way in helping everyone receive timely care. Thank you for working with us šŸ’™

🚨Southwestern Public Health is seeking the public’s help to identify a dog involved in a bite incident in St. Thomas.

The incident occurred on April 2nd, 2026, at approximately 5:30PM.

The individual was walking down Balaclava St. in St. Thomas when they passed a male and female both walking dogs. The dog being walked by the woman jumped up and bit the individual’s arm. The dog is described as a large dark brown short-haired mixed breed dog wearing a black collar. The animal owner is described as a younger female believed to be in her 20s with brown hair.

Public Health wants to confirm the vaccination status of the dog to allow the victim and their health care provider to determine next steps related to rabies post-exposure prophylaxis.

If you are the owner of the dog or have information about the incident, please contact Southwestern Public Health at 1-800-922-0096 and ask to speak with a Public Health Inspector.
