There is nothing more inspiring than sorting through Sweetgrass on a cold January moring. We are so happy that we seriously stocked up over the summer. We always carefully wrap our Sweetgrass in linen sheets and store it in a dark cool room. This maintains freshness, that wonderful sweet smell and the green gass. Hand Drum Kits Dye it YOUR way!! Tribal Spirit made dyed drums a thing.....we started experimenting with dying rawhide over 20 years ago. Initially folks were a little freaked out by the change....but today we can see Dyed drums at any Native gathering across Turtle Island. We are not offering our dying techniques as part of our drum kits. This is a great way to step up your next drum making workshop. We will include a package of dye with your drum kit as well as instructions to make it happen. Have fun!!

Bear Grease is back in stock!! We did a huge boil on tuesday and all sizes are on our website. Over the years we have developed relationships with all of the local butchers that we work with. We taught them how to properly harvest Bear fat. Normally it goes straight to the garbage....but we buy it from them and then render it down making the cleanest Bear Grease possible. Tribal Spiri's Hand Drum Kits: We are just heading into Drum Kit season and we are ready to go. I'm not sure why exactly but in the depth of winter the Native community loves to get to making Hand Drums. Kinda makes sense, it's a great way to get togeather, get out of the house, teach, learn and share our traditions. Well we are ready. We make 5 different sizes of Drum Kits from small kids 8", bigger kids 11" and adult 12", 14" or 16" all in deer. Tribal Medalions: DIY Necklace Kits,
This is a very simple project made for the younger crew, but kinda cool for any age. They can just get more elaborate with age. Each set of kits will include 10 Moose Rawhide cut outs (hole punched) sanded smooth, a 30+ inch of leather lacing and 8 crow beads (4 directions). The art is up to you and your crew. And Sharpie marker will work just perfectly. Not fancy but a fun project!! We are including a pack of mixed colour Sharpie Markers as an add on option to make your life easier. So you don’t have to run out to buy some. We painted these only as an example, you will receive them ready to be painted.
