🎂 Happy birthday chiropractic! 🎂

On September 18, 1895, history was made when Dr. D.D. Palmer performed the very first chiropractic adjustment, earning recognition as the discoverer of Chiropractic.

Today we get to celebrate this birthday and the impact it has had on our community here at Elan and on chiropractic around the world!

What began as one adjustment has led to offices globally focussed on connection, healing, and living fully alive. It is exciting to experience countless stories of health restored, sleep return and energy increase.

YOU are all a part of this story! Today is a day to celebrate chiropractic and our Elan community, the individuals and families who have trusted me with your care. Thank you for being part of this journey-wow, 130 years! (25 years for me!)

Hours Update!

I'm in the office Monday morning until 1pm, away for a couple days & back Thursday/ Friday before the long weekend. Gotta squeeze in those last summer days before September & school arrives :)

☀️Happy Summer Solstice! Let's make sure you start your summer well adjusted! 🏖

Heading into the end of June, please note that I have altered hours for the end of the month and the first half of July.

Next week is open regular hours Monday to Wednesday, June 23 - 25th. Then we're closed for all of the excitement - an anniversary, a birthday and Canada Day!

Elan will be open July 2 - 4th (Wednesday to Friday), and again July 7th, 10th & 11th. Probably not the most common reason to close in the summer, but it is curling camp week.

Book your chiropractic visit early for your favorite time!

Last few hours in Toronto!

It’s been fun and I squeezed in as much as I could. I have positive memories of living here, but just like 25 yrs ago, I’m looking forward to coming home to BC again. I’m back in the office tomorrow and looking forward to seeing you soon for your chiropractic visit!

Hours Update! I am here regular hours for the rest of this week, and the start of next week, June 2nd to 4th, then will be closed until Wednesday, June 11th.

I am heading to Toronto for my Chiropractic School's Homecoming! Looking forward to seeing former classmates and colleagues, revisiting a few favorite Toronto sights, and participating in some continuing education classes.

I practice in NE Salmon Arm (North Broadview area) out of a home based office. We have transitioned our family home, established in 1982, to a home & office. We took over the home and property in 2020, which is also my 20th year practicing Chiropractic.

Our space is family friendly and family welcoming! I have trained with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and have spent many years working with pregnant moms, babies and families. Not to exclude the fathers and men, who are absolutely welcome of course! I have spent numerous years training with Dr Donald Epstein in Network Spinal care (also referred to as Network Chiropractic or Network Spinal Analysis). This was to work towards Level 3 & Master-E level of training and certification. Network Spinal care uses adjustments and strategies that address the tone of the nervous system and spine using a touch contact at spinal gateways.
