Fabulous Friday Fact:

David Locke, one of Live Well's fabulous physios, was recently awarded the UBC Department of Physical Therapy Mentorship Recognition Award!

'We present this award annually to outstanding Clinical Educators who are nominated by our students
for excellence in teaching during a clinical placement.'

Some of the things Dave's student, Nina, had to say:

“One thing I thought Dave did very well was coordinating and uplifting other local practitioners.
He knew all the local doctors, RMTs, NPs and Chiros by name, and was able to coordinate with
them about patient care if needed. This was very impressive, and I strive to be so connected

Want to feel inspired about active living? Head on down to the pool to see 100 year old Betty B compete in the BC 55+ games! Today Betty will be swimming the 800meter freestyle!!!

Congrats to Tim, Finn, Dane, Marrin and McKenzie! They all participated in the Copper Island Swim today...Finn placed 2nd, Dane 3rd in the 2.6 km race and Tim placed 1st in the 5km around the island course! Marrin place 1st in the 2.6km course for females, 3rd overall! McKenzie placed 3rd for females!

As competitive swimmers, many of the Selkirks Swim Club frequent Live Well Physiotherapy to keep their bodies in top form for training and races.

Tim is one of Live Well Physio's active and talented Physiotherapists!

Congratulations to the Selkirks Swim Club swimmers who represented Zone 2 in the BC Games! These swimmers collected 16 Medals (11 Golds, 4 Silvers and 1 Bronze). Amazing results from our small town that went up against the big city clubs!
Live Well Physiotherapy is so proud of these young swimmers and we love our small role in keeping these athletes in top form. The future is 🌞 bright!
