Fabulous Friday Fact:
David Locke, one of Live Well's fabulous physios, was recently awarded the UBC Department of Physical Therapy Mentorship Recognition Award!
'We present this award annually to outstanding Clinical Educators who are nominated by our students
for excellence in teaching during a clinical placement.'
Some of the things Dave's student, Nina, had to say:
“One thing I thought Dave did very well was coordinating and uplifting other local practitioners.
He knew all the local doctors, RMTs, NPs and Chiros by name, and was able to coordinate with
them about patient care if needed. This was very impressive, and I strive to be so connected
with my local community in the future! He is incredibly skilled and truly fostered my newly found interest in the area. In addition, he provided me with an amazingly positive private practice experience- which has changed my future career choice which had previously not included private practice at all. I am forever grateful!”
