all the countries/places in the world who use the ocean as their landfill need to make this shift with help if needed in order for humans to be more environmentally friendly to sea life, we are all in this together. Refrigerators, car batteries, household waste etc do not belong in the ocean, I saw all kinds of garbage get dumped in the Ocean when I traveled south east asia.

Ethiopia has reportedly built an energy plant which converts waste to electricity. The country's largest rubbish dump was used as the site for the plant.
