Welcome Shilah to the Elevate Team 💚

Shilah Samuels-Callender is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a passion for helping clients achieve pain relief and improved mobility. Her journey into massage therapy began after overcoming athletic injuries, which inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare.

She specializes in deep tissue, sports, rehabilitation, and relaxation treatments, using techniques such as trigger point release, stretching, and joint mobilization to create personalized treatment plans. Shilah has experience treating conditions including sciatica, frozen shoulder, rotator cuff and back-related conditions, fibromyalgia, TMJ, and pregnancy-related discomfort.

Only 2 months until Baby Purdy joins the Elevate family! 💫

Nicole will remain open for all bookings until Feb 21st, and for follow-up appointments with current clients until March 21st.

She plans to return with a part-time schedule by October 2025, and to provide some availability (particularly for services such as dry needling) prior to that, as able.

In the meantime, our amazing resident Physiotherapist Danielle as well as Dr. Purdy & Dr. Cooper will be available to provide continuing care to her wonderful clientele. ✨

🚨 Join the Elevate Healthcare Team! 🚨

We are looking to add a Medical Office Administrator ASAP to our amazing team to cover a mat leave. The position is expected to be 25-30hrs per week until October 2025.

The ideal candidate will exhibit great customer service skills, works well in a team environment, be comfortable answering and making phone calls, able to learn new skills, and have proficiency with using computer programs including email and Microsoft Office suite.

Training will be provided, but experience in a similar medical office setting is an asset (bonus points if you have used *Jane* before).

🚨NEW TEAM MEMBER ALERT!🚨

We are excited to add Physiotherapy availability by welcoming Danielle Ennett to the Elevate team. 💚

Danielle is a resident Physiotherapist committed to designing individualized treatment plans that cater to each patient’s specific goals and conditions. She utilizes a comprehensive approach by incorporating a variety of treatment methods such as joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, and exercise prescription. With a passion for injury prevention and rehabilitation, Danielle’s ultimate aim is to help her patients achieve optimal physical function and improve their overall quality of life.
Growing up in Sarnia, Ontario, Danielle’s passion for movement and fitness was cultivated through gymnastics and taekwondo. Her dedication to taekwondo eventually led her to represent Canada at the 2016 World Taekwondo Championships, a highlight that reinforced her love for movement and performance.

Her extensive experience in fitness allows her to combine physiotherapy treatment techniques with exercise-based rehabilitation programs tailored to the unique goals of each patient. Whether working with athletes, post-surgical patients, or individuals with goals to improve or maintain function, Danielle is committed to helping each person achieve their goals.

Danielle completed her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology at Western University in 2021 and went on to work as a Registered Kinesiologist before pursuing her Master’s in Physical Therapy at Western University. Outside of her clinical practice, Danielle remains passionate about staying active by working out regularly and enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. 👩🏼‍🍳
