Winter scenes and snow painting today at CANVAS for our last session of 2025! This is such a lovely group who has become so close! Clinicians were so proud today to over hear clients talking about how kind they all are and independently wishing each other happy holidays. So nice to see social skills and positive peer relationships develop 🎄🎁

We will be offering a cooking group to target selective eating in a fun, stress free group environment. Children will be exposed to new foods and engage with them in ways they are comfortable with while building tolerance through exposure, play and shaping. Two nights of parent training will be provided by Registered Behaviour Analyst Ambar Hehn so you can continue the progress at home! Each week kids will work together to prepare a new recipe to share with their peers 🌮🍟🥓🥞🧁🍓🍑🫐🍌🥦

Our new “Fun with Food” group for selective eaters has been so fun. Here is the “kid charcuterie” our clients made last night! They had fun designing and choosing foods to ad and even tried a few new things! We use a combination of Greg Hanley’s evidence based Assessment and Treatment Process of Food Selectivity and Refusal which focuses on choice and assent, and fun no-pressure exposure to new foods during kid friendly cooking projects. We may offer this program again in February so keep an eye on our insta for group offerings 🌭🥗🥪🍕🍟🥞🍓🍌🍎

Now booking our first Gamers group of January 2026. A great group for kids who love gaming and are apprehensive to join group activities. A fun way to learn some group and social skills when engaging in a favourite activity in a fun setting 🕹️👾
