Bluewater Health now has Indigenous Patient Navigators in the Emergency Department through a partnership with the Indigenous Communities Advisory Council, Sarnia-Lambton Ontario Health Team. It is great to see this team growing and working hard to ensure safe care for First Nation, Inuit and Metis people.

Through a collaborative partnership with local First Nations communities, the hospital has implemented Indigenous Navigation Services to enhance the care experience of Indigenous patients and families.
