We’ve been alerted to a concerning situation: someone has been targeting our elderly patients by impersonating a Northgate Pharmacy delivery driver and asking to access their medications.

⚠️ While it’s true that our team may occasionally pick up medications to make necessary changes, please be assured that a pharmacy staff member will always contact the patient or their caregiver directly beforehand to explain the reason and schedule the pickup.

If someone shows up at your door claiming to be from Northgate Pharmacy and you weren’t expecting them:
🛑 Do not give them your medications
📞 Call us immediately at (519) 344-8222 to verify
🚔 If you feel unsafe, contact 911

Please help us spread the word—especially to seniors or vulnerable individuals in your life. We’re working to investigate the situation, and your safety remains our highest priority.

We’re feeling the love here at Northgate Pharmacy! 💙

Yesterday, we were surprised with these beautiful hand-drawn thank you notes, sweet-smelling gifts, and Tim Hortons gift cards from a grateful family. All because we stayed a little late one Saturday to make sure their sick child received the medication they needed.

It wasn’t even a question, when you’re our patient we treat you like our family. We stayed to make sure this child got the best therapy, just as we would do for our own.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Thank you for the kindness and for making our day. We really do have the best community. 💐☕💌

☀️ We’re thrilled to welcome students Mary and Karman to Northgate Pharmacy this summer!

Mary is a Sarnia native currently working on her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto. She’s joined us for the month of June to learn more about pharmacy and gain some hands-on experience in the field.

Karman is a student at Lambton College pursuing her designation as a Registered Pharmacy Technician. She’s completing her community pharmacy placement with us as part of her studies.

Be sure to say hello when you see them around the pharmacy—they’re a wonderful addition to the Northgate team! 😎

Please say hi to Chiquitah (pronounced Che-QUEE-tah), who’s joining us for the next 6 weeks on clinical rotation!
Fun facts: she was born in Qatar, has twin brothers, and even went to math camp in high school (talk about dedication!). After studying Biology at Queen’s University, she’s now wrapping up her PharmD at the University of Waterloo.
We love having students like Chiquitah on site — they bring so much energy, knowledge, and fresh perspective. We’re learning right alongside them every day!
Make sure to give her a warm welcome if you see her! 👋
