About the role:

Support individuals with complex physical, developmental, and behavioural needs; implement CSP-aligned strategies; act as case navigator during CSN funding; document budgets/progress and report to MCCSS as needed; foster safety, dignity, inclusion, and community participation.

You bring:

Related diploma/degree; experience with dual diagnosis/behavioural challenges; trauma-informed, crisis intervention & positive behaviour support knowledge; strong documentation/communication; Word/Excel/Adobe proficiency. Valid driver’s licence/vehicle an asset. Bilingualism an asset.

Family Counselling Centre has supported Sarnia–Lambton since 1955 with inclusive, person-centred services. We’re seeking a compassionate, skilled Complex Special Needs Worker to support individuals with high needs in daily living, behavioral management, safety planning, and community inclusion.

You will:
• Implement individualized care plans and behavior supports (trauma-informed, person-centred)
• Navigate and coordinate services per CSP plans and CSN funding
• Promote safety, dignity, and community participation
• Track budgets, document progress/incidents, and report to MCCSS as required
• Collaborate with families, clinicians, and community teams

You bring:
• Diploma/degree in Social/Developmental Services, Psychology, or related field
• Experience with complex needs, dual diagnosis, and behavioral challenges

Family Counselling Centre (FCC) in Sarnia, ON is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Programs Manager to join our senior leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community by leading Community Support Services (CSS) programs and supporting our Family, Couple & Individual (FCI) team.

💼 What You’ll Do:
• Lead program development, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Supervise and support staff using trauma-informed, person-centered approaches.
• Strengthen partnerships with agencies, service providers, and funders.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning.

✨ What We’re Looking For:
• A leader with 5–7+ years of progressive leadership experience in social/community services.
• Strong knowledge of developmental services, mental health, and disability support.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Registered with an accredited body (e.g., OCSWSSW, CRPO).
• University degree in Social Work, Psychology, Disability Studies, or related field.
