Wow — what an incredible achievement!
A huge thank you to Al and Erika Bezaire, the generous sponsors, donors, and the Lambton College Men’s Baseball Team for their remarkable efforts.

What started as a $2,000 goal grew into over $50,000 raised — an unbelievable feat! By sharing their own experience of care, Al and Erika have helped so many others, and we are truly grateful for their passion and dedication. 💙💚

And as playoffs approach, let’s rally behind the team — cheer loudly, Sarnia–Lambton! ⚾️🙌

Back on September 20th, our Men's Baseball Program hosted 'Curveballs for Cancer Care', a fundraiser in support of the Bluewater Health Foundation and their Cancer Care Clinic Redevelopment Fund. Through raffle tickets, penny raffle tables, games, contests, and open donations, all proceeds went directly to supporting the Cancer Care Clinic that gave the Bezaire family so much during their time of need.

Today, members of the team stopped by Bluewater Health to present the Bluewater Health Foundation with the final donation number, and we're blown away by the support.

Thanks to the overwhelming support from our sponsors, the Lambton College community, and Sarnia-Lambton as a whole, the Lambton Men's Baseball Program and Lambton College Athletics were able to make a donation of $50,012.00 to the Bluewater Health Foundation!

Again, we want to sincerely thank all our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and the community at-large for their support of this year's event.

Congratulations to Sara on receiving a Heart of Gold! 💛

Sara, a Registered Nurse at Bluewater Health, is being recognized for the kindness and compassion she shares with patients, families and colleagues every day.

One patient shared, “Sara was my nurse for my PICC line insertion. I was very nervous, and she put me at ease and got me through the procedure. She is a special kind of nurse.”
