This guy…
This was before he had his staples out, which was when he was in the most amount of pain in this whole journey.

But even then he was trying to crack jokes and have a laugh.

Yes, his many years of weight lifting and a well rounded mobility/stability focus have definitely helped his recovery, but his mindset has too.

Your mindset is your superpower.
If you’re facing a health challenge, your mindset is the strongest medicine you carry.

Surgery may challenge your body, but your thoughts shape your comeback.

Focus on the small wins—because they add up to a BIG recovery. 💪✨

"Programing Essentials" is my latest certification that I get to hang on the wall.
Tracey and I need to earn at least 4 Continuing Education Credits each year to maintain our Canfit Pro Personal Trainer Specialist certification. This allows us to keep our certification valid, our business insured, and our minds open to always learning.

I am going to have some time on my hands in the next couple of weeks (knee replacement), I'm open to suggestions on my next course.

🧠✨ I got an Oura Ring for my birthday — and no, it’s not just a fancy mood ring for midlife!

I’m actually super excited to start tracking deeper patterns in my health and fitness — but let’s be clear:
❌ I won’t be using it to micromanage calories
❌ I won’t be turning every stat into a “do more” challenge
❌ I’m not aiming to “crush” more workouts because of a readiness score

👀 What will I be watching?

➡️ Trends in how my body responds to shifts in training
➡️ Nutrition tweaks that might move the needle (or not)
➡️ How my bioidentical hormone therapy is impacting sleep, recovery, and stress

But most importantly, the real MVP metrics are still:
🌙 Sleep quality
⚡ Energy levels
💩 Digestion (yep, I said it)
😌 Mood & nervous system regulation

The tech is cool — but my body still has the final say.
This is data, not a dictator.

Try This 5-Minute Breathing Reset! 🌬️

When life feels overwhelming, your breath is your built-in reset button.
Deep, intentional breathing lowers cortisol, reduces tension, and helps your body feel safe and strong.

✨ Try this simple 5-minute breathing exercise:
🔹 Inhale for 4 seconds 🫁
🔹 Hold for 4 seconds ⏳
🔹 Exhale for 6 seconds 😌
🔹 Repeat for 5 minutes

Notice how your body shifts.
Shoulders relax, thoughts slow down, and stress melts away. 💆‍♀️

💫Bonus points if you do it while lying on the floor with your legs up against a wall like pictured above. 👆🏻
