In halls so bright, in rooms so clean,
Behind the scenes, yet always seen.
A caring touch, a mindful way,
Ensuring health in night and day.
I choose this path, not for the fame,
But for the heart behind the name.
For every floor that shines with grace,
For every smile in every place.
What keeps me here? The lives we guard,
Through steady hands and work that's hard.
A quiet force, yet strong and true,
A team that cares in all we do.
Proud to stand in EVS,
More than a job—a deep success.
For those we help, for those we serve,
A duty done with love and nerve.

We picked a great day to visit the Berry Barn! Marjorie, Dawn, Mary and Connie enjoyed sweet treats and a lovely walk by the river.
We even saw the fire department at work putting out a grass fire.

Monday afternoon, we had the pleasure of visiting the Dundurn firehall thanks to Brittney ( CCA), who also happens to be a volunteer firefighter!
We learned a great deal about volunteer firefighters and roles they play.
It was a fantastic afternoon.
