Thank you to the beautiful hearts that joined me on October 29, 2022 for
Hearts for Harmony: Mantra Magic

We had a beautiful day experiencing the profound nature and power of mantras, mixing contemporary songs that can be used to calm and still the mind as well as authentic ancient mantras. It was beautiful to feel the vibration of the melodies and chants and bathe in the peaceful calm that spread throughout the room at Ancient Spirals Retreat Centre.

Hope to organize more retreats and gatherings in the near future. Stay tuned

At our Hearts for Harmony: don’t worry, be happy on June 4th, we enjoyed some profound and relaxing yoga with Pam Nelson of PLN Yoga (from Christopher lake). Pam gracefully and joyfully shared her profound experience of yoga with the group. She shared a lovely glimpse of yogic philosophy and poses that activated feelings of joy and a sense of peace. Pam’s many years of experience shone through, as she skillfully guided each of us through the yoga together.

Had an amazing Saturday hosting the 💜 Hearts for Harmony: Don't worry, be happy 💜 retreat!

We had a wonderful day of sharing, laughter, meditation, drumming, and yoga. It was a profound honour having Willak and his son, Kuri, join us for the day, sharing their wisdom, presence, stories, and music.

On Saturday, June 4th, we are also honoured that our spiritual brother from Ecuador, Willak (Jorge Santillan) will join us to share his wisdom and presence during the day.

Willak, aka Jorge Santillán was born and lives in the indigenous community of Agato, Ecuador. He comes from a long line of healers and wisdom keepers of the Andean cosmovision. His mother, Rosa Santillan is a healer and midwife in the community. His father, Jose Santillan, was a musician, healer, herbalist, and leader of the community. The wisdom of the Mother Earth had been passed down through many generations, from grandparents to grandchildren, parents to children, or teacher to student.

At 13 years of age, Willak’s curiosity to understand life and its many forms took him to visit different places in the world and meet wise men and women from different cultures, and among these places is Canada. Saskatchewan is one of the provinces which still holds the wisdom of the indigenous people and the rich culture in the cities which has strengthened the teachings of my parents and helped me continue on this path of the Yachaks (wisdom-holder, healer, sometimes called ‘shaman’).

Hope you can come on Saturday, June 4th, to Ancient Spirals and welcome him on his first return to Canada since 2020 🙏💜

We are delighted that Pamela Nelson will join us this Saturday (June 4, 2022) for Hearts for Harmony 2: Don't worry, be happy!

Pam lives in Christopher Lake, Saskatchewan and has been practicing yoga for 30 years. Starting in her early 20's, she quickly realized how beneficial yoga was for strength and flexibility, as well as mental well-being. She loves the openness yoga brings to the body, the quietness to the mind, and a deep connection to the earth. She is a highly-qualified member of the Iyengar Association of Canada (IYAC) and certified as a Level 3 Instructor at the national level. She loves teaching yoga in a way that is accessible to all and filled with gentle humour and joy.

"Everything! Being with like-minded, positive people who are all moving forward for positive intention, song, dance, mindfulness. I loved it all! I enjoyed the meditation breathing.
