📢BUSINESS REBRAND IN PROGRESS 📢
I've been hard at work, with some help from great friends and collaborators, to create the business image I've always wanted. Here is the official new name and logo :).
When I first came out of massage school, I didn’t have much time to reflect on a business name or direction—I was just focused on getting back to earning a living. But now I’ve had plenty of time to think about where I’ve been and where I want to go.
I am a proud prairie girl through and through. I love being able to see the horizon, the beauty of our lakes, the power of the river, and the serenity of the forest. I love prairie people—their hardworking, fun-loving, and friendly neighborly nature. I embrace our crisp winters and our hot summers. With all this love for the prairies, I always knew I wanted "Prairie" to be part of my business name.
The second part of the name required more reflection. I thought deeply about my approach to treatments and how I want my clients to feel during and after a session. Even before massage school, Ive been working on a specially curated music playlist that makes me feel calm, happy and peaceful. Music has always been important to me, I always have something playing and being able to listen to good music throughout my day was one of the reasons I chose massage as my career path. Music is healing and has a flow and I’ve worked diligently to create a treatment that allows the nervous system to slow, enabling clients to reach a deeper state of relaxation in "harmony" with the music and the massage.
I then chose to include "wellness" in the name because it offers the opportunity for growth in the future which is something I definitely plan to do.
And that’s how Prairie Harmony Massage & Wellness was born.
