Raising my rates was not an easy decision, and it’s something I sat with for a long time. I truly value my clients and want my treatments to remain accessible and supportive.
That said, the cost of running a business has increased significantly—rent, supplies, linens, oils, continuing education, insurance, licensing, and time spent on admin, charting, cleaning, and client care outside of the treatment room. Much of this work happens behind the scenes and isn’t reflected in hands-on massage time.
My rates also reflect the level of care I provide: years of experience, advanced training, and specialized skills that allow me to offer thoughtful, effective treatments tailored to each person. Ongoing education is essential in this field, and staying current ensures I can continue to support clients safely and professionally.
This adjustment allows me to sustain my practice, avoid burnout, and continue offering high-quality care in a way that’s ethical and sustainable—for both my clients and myself.
