I thought my bookings were dying down lately, but that doesnt seem to be the case. I've been fully booked since Dec and fully booked weeks ahead. This monday I had openings last minute, but that seems to be the exception.

I've heard of massage surging around the new year and ebbing over summer, so we will see(it's still my first year working), but I'm suspicious I'm just fully booked all the time now.

Sorry it's hard to get in with me. 😣

What are your thoughts?

I'm thinking of working from home as well as the clinic. Availability would be most afternoons and evenings. There would be some challenges for sure, but I think it could work.

Before I do any of that I need to work on my marketing though so people can hear about me. New business cards, website, and outreaches are at the top of the list.

I took my first half-week(single day and holiday) of vacation since starting work. I'm looking forward to it.
I try to minimize time away from work since it's already so hard to book in with me without weeks of notice.

I want to talk about RAPID. Any time a client comes in with pain or muscle tension, it's my go to style. It has great outcomes and is very different from typical Swedish massage.

It's clothing on.
It feels intense. (That could be a pro or con depending on who you ask 😂)
The benefits are felt immediately and can be long lasting.

Typically I see a 50% reduction in pain or tightness after one treatment.

Don't no show appointments: let me help other people!

I get "complemented" on how hard it is to book in with me because my slots fill up fast. That's why it's always disheartening when people cancel an appointment without proper notice.

One shift this week had room for 3 extra appointments, but couldn't be filled because if late cancellations.

I keep learning new stuff. I just became a RAPID specialist. Some new things I learned treatments for: scars, eye tracking, incontinence, abdominal pressure system, pelvic floor, and more

That's on top of all the other RAPID stuff I already do, like headaches, shoulder tension, and low back pain.

Started working a clinic. I've been here long enough that I don't think I'll be leaving soon. I should probably write up a bio for them...

I know you guys have been asking, "When can I get a Kyle Massage?" well there should be an answer soon. I am still considering a home clinic, but there is a fair bit overhead involved in setting one up that is up to code.

I've applied to a few places around town so that you guys can get in to see me. Is there any place you think I should apply to in Saskatoon? I expect to have a place sometime in Feb.

Also, I just finished my second RAPID NFR course so I am psyched to do some RAPID on you guys.
