It was a beautiful morning for a walk as Huskie Health proudly took part in Rock Your Roots. This meaningful event brings our community together to honour the truths of Residential Schools, to recognize and support survivors, and to demonstrate our shared commitment to reconciliation.

Thanks to team for helping the Huskie Health coalition members and USask College of Kin 350 and 460 practicum students practice our on ice EAP. We hope to never use these skills but in the event we do practice makes perfect!

Huskie Health is seeking an individual to work at the front desk for casual hours, mostly 4:00 – 6:00pm, at Merlis Belsher Place Sport Science and Health Centre (SSHC).

Responsibilities:
- Answer emails, phone, and booking appointments.
- Receiving payments and closing the payment systems at the end of day.
- Ensuring forms are filled out (athletes and public clients)
- Receiving faxes and scanning into the appropriate files
- Helping book outside appointments for athletes (doctor, imaging),
- Completing the laundry, tidy up the clinic and recovery room.
- Other office tasks are required.

Did you know that athletics starts today in Paris?

We would like to wish Michelle Harris good luck in 100 meter hurdles. She has been working with Ainsley to get primed and in top shape for these Olympic Games.

On the first day of the Paris Olympics Huskie Health wants to wish good luck to Rylan Wiens and Margot Erlam.

This will be Rylan’s second Olympics. He will be competing in the Individual 10m Platform and Synchronized 10m Platform events. Margo will be competing in her first Olympic Games in the 3m Individual Springboard.

Jessica has been working with them by providing sport physiotherapy, assisting them with recovery and working towards optimal performance patterns.
