Important Update Regarding Holiday Deliveries ❄️🚚

Reality check: It’s really nasty out there.

We are officially in the final one-week countdown to Christmas, the busiest shipping week of the year. Unfortunately, the current blowing snow and difficult weather conditions are throwing a major wrench into delivery schedules.

Please be aware that delays are very likely over the next few days. Our drivers (and the postal services) are doing absolutely everything they can to get packages to doors, but they must prioritize safety on these treacherous roads.

We know everyone is anxiously watching tracking numbers, but we ask for a little extra grace this week. Please have patience with the process and be kind to the delivery drivers battling the elements to bring you your holidays.

❄️ Winter Weather Safety Alert: Medical Supplies ❄️

Baby, it’s cold outside! If you receive catheters, saline solutions, lubricants, or liquid medications via mail or delivery, please be aware that sitting in a cold delivery truck or mailbox can cause them to freeze.

⚠️ Important: Please do NOT use catheters or medical liquids if they are frozen or partially frozen. Using frozen supplies can be uncomfortable, ineffective, and potentially cause injury.

The Fix: Bring your packages inside immediately upon delivery and allow all supplies to naturally reach room temperature before you use them.

We’re officially in the Christmas season, and as always, this time of year brings increased shipping volumes and a bit of winter weather unpredictability. Because of this, we’re starting to see some delays with our shipping partners.



To make sure you have the supplies you need, we recommend placing your orders early. Ordering ahead will help ensure everything arrives on time and that you’re fully stocked over the holidays. Please also remember to be kind and patient with the delivery drivers this season. They’re working incredibly hard to get everyone’s parcels where they need to be.



Please note that our office will be closed on:

December 24th, 25th, 26th, as well as January 1st.



If you need any supplies before Christmas, now is a great time to stock up.

🥳 Huge congratulations are in order for our incredible URO Medical colleague, Ashley Baerg, on her phenomenal performance at the 2025 World Disabled Waterski Championship held in Mulwala, Australia, from November 27th to 30th! 🇦🇺🇨🇦

Ashley competed fiercely in three events: Slalom, Trick, and Jump, showcasing dedication and skill.

🥇 Gold Medal: Seated Ladies Slalom

🥇 Gold Medal: Seated Ladies Jump

🥉 Bronze Medal: Seated Ladies Overall Score

And the celebrations don't stop there! Ashley also played a pivotal role in helping Team Canada secure a Bronze Medal in the overall team event! 🥉

We are so incredibly proud and absolutely thrilled by how well Ashley performed and represented both URO Medical and Canada on the world stage! What an inspiring achievement!

🏁 Spinal Cord Injury Saskatchewan Wheelchair Relay – Regina Edition! 🏁

The energy was high and the competition fierce at this year’s Wheelchair Relay held at the Wascana Rehab gym in Regina! Teams from SWSA, First Steps Wellness, Prairie Heart, and three local Regina hockey teams brought their best to the track.

Going into the final race, URO Medical was the team to beat — but a friendly rivalry with First Steps Wellness opened the door for Prairie Heart to claim the win, with URO Medical taking a close second!

👏 A huge thank-you to all the teams, supporters, and volunteers who made this such a fun and inspiring community event. The spirit of teamwork, inclusion, and friendly competition was on full display — and we can’t wait for next year!
