Can massage therapy help with carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)? Yes!

Massage therapy is an effective way to help relieve CTS-related symptoms and can be used as a preventative measure.

Massage therapy can help treat CTS by reducing inflammation, pain, and numbness in the carpal tunnel. This happens by lengthening the muscles and fascia in the neck, shoulders, arms, wrists, and hand.

Deep tissue massage can be used to stimulate trigger points and reduce the tension in the soft tissues of the shoulder, arm, hand and wrist. It can also help increase joint mobility in those areas.

Heads up! I’m fully booked until the BEGINNING OF MARCH (y’all are crazy for that- tysm). March 25th will be my last official day on my booking system before I take time off to birth & bond with my baby. Luckily people seem to ache less in the spring and summer- I’ll be back in the fall. 🍂🍂 If you need a spring/summer treatment I have a few great therapists that I have started referring out to. People often seem to believe that once a disc is herniated, that’s it, it’s herniated forever. The body heals your surface wounds- why wouldn’t it heal your internal issues too?
All these people walking around expecting to be broken and in pain forever, through belief, making it so. Full stop. GREAT NEWS. Your body can very much recover! Love seeing my clients shocked at this information. New hope in their eyes.

My books are closing to new clients on Monday December 16th, to ensure my existing clients can find availability in my schedule. My schedule will be reserved for clients whom I have treated at “I am Health”, Massage Experts, or from my home practice. I will, however, still accept new clients if they are immediate family members of existing clients.
I’m grateful that my little practice is thriving and at the point where I have to close to new people. It’s been fun and enlightening to meet so many new people. Every referral means so much to me! A schedule that is “too booked up” is such a “good problem” to have. I’m planning to re-open my books fall 2025-but we will assess when we get there. Thanks - Des

Heads up! I’ll be in Northern California from December 5th-11th. I will not be reachable during this time. I’m currently booking into January, but I recommend checking my schedule regularly as I have the odd cancellation pop up that tends to get snapped up before I can offer it to my cancellation list.
