Meet Lindsay! Lindsey joined our team as the Operating Manager of Prairie Industrial Health Services in Prince Albert since the summer of 2021. Lindsey has worked in the Occupational Health Field for 10 years. Lindsey is a Certified Professional Collector Trainer, has a background in assisting with medical procedures, client care and medical office responsibilities. You will find her working seven days a week, evenings and holidays, providing ultimate service in our Prince Albert location.

She opened PIHS in 2013 after realizing that the occupational health world needed better access to timely, professional and accurate results. With a health career that started at the Royal University Hospital Emergency department, she gained an appreciation for injury prevention in the work place. After completing her Masters in Nurse Practitioning in 2018, she was able to offer a more comprehensive list of services that is convenient for clients including fit for work medicals."

Did you know PIHS does "Fit for work" assessments? "Fit for work" is a medical assessment done when an employer wishes to be sure an employee can safely do a specific job or task. The purpose is to determine if medically the employee can perform the job or task under the working conditions. Fit to work assessments are most often done to determine medical fitness after an illness or injury, but are sometimes done after employment has been offered, as requested by the employer, or as a condition of a job transfer.
