Happy Monday! We wanted to share a quick recap about both Dr. Christine and Dr. Stacey's educational weekends!

Dr. Christine was at Logan University in St. Louis for her Masters in Chiropractic Pediatrics. It was a weekend of reviewing adjustments and cranial sacral therapy. Dr. Christine had a written and practical exam which she passed! She is almost done this semester and begins her next semester in May. She is loving everything she is learning and able to incorporate into her practice! 💕

Chiropractors do not fix the body. They free it to function the way it was designed!

Chiropractic is designed on the concept of vitalism. Chiropractors believe that the body has an innate intelligence of healing itself, and disease occurs when the body’s natural ability to adapt to life’s forces (stress, environmental toxins, traumatic events) is interrupted. The thing that disrupts this communication pathway is called a subluxation, which interferes with the normal function of the nervous system. Once the subluxation is corrected through the specific adjustment the interference disappears and the body is again able to function optimally – in essence, true healing comes from within the body rather than from the adjustment itself.
