We are excited to announce our Local Artist Series in our reception gathering space, the Arbor Room, at Park Funeral Home, beginning with the work of Stefani “Fawn” De Nysschen Life with Fawn

Fawn’s pieces are thoughtful, expressive, and quietly powerful – the kind of art that invites reflection. Her work brings warmth, texture, and a sense of nostalgia to the space, and we are honoured to share it with our community.

This series is part of our ongoing effort to support our local community while creating a welcoming, meaningful environment for families and visitors. Thank you to Fawn for collaborating with us on this initiative.

Visitors are welcome to view the artwork; however, we kindly ask that you call ahead before stopping by, out of respect for the families who may be using the space (306) 244-2103. We are located at 311 3rd Avenue N, Saskatoon.

Artwork is on display now. For inquiries about the artwork, please contact the artist directly www.lifewithfawn.com

If you - or someone you know, might be interested in being featured in a future installation, we would love to hear from you. Please email park@arbormemorial.com for more information.

A huge thank you to the organizer Felicia Fox and dedicated volunteers behind Blue Monday for another meaningful event. This was our second year sponsoring with our sister location, Hillcrest Funeral Home & Cemetery, and we’re so grateful to be part of such an important community initiative.

This year, we surpassed last year’s total — growing from 1,280 to 1,511 delicious sandwiches — and made some truly great connections with fellow community members along the way.

Thank you for the care, energy, and heart you put into making this event such a success. We’re proud to support it and look forward to continuing this partnership in the years ahead.

Some of the most difficult conversations are also the most important ones, because they protect the wellbeing of the people you love.

Pre‑planning your final arrangements is not just about preparing for the future. It brings peace of mind and ensures your loved ones feel supported during a stressful and uncertain time. These conversations may feel uncomfortable or even bring up feelings of sadness or melancholy, but they are a powerful way to show care, love, and responsibility.

A small step today can help bring clarity and comfort for everyone.

Proud to Support Blue Monday, Sandwich Day — Year Two

Park Funeral Home, along with our sister location, Hillcrest Funeral Home & Cemetery, are proud to once again sponsor and take part in Blue Monday, Sandwich Day on Monday, January 19, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion #63 in Saskatoon.

This marks our second year supporting this meaningful community initiative. Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of volunteers and donors, we surpassed the goal of 1,000 sandwiches, all of which were distributed to community fridges throughout Saskatoon to support those facing food insecurity.

We’re honoured to roll up our sleeves again this year by sponsoring the event, donating supplies, and volunteering alongside so many caring community members. If you’re able to contribute ingredients, packaging supplies, or your time, every bit helps make a real difference.

Thank you to Felicia Fox (Food with Felicia Fox) and everyone involved in turning compassion into action. Please consider stopping by, lending a hand, or sharing this post to help spread the word
