Four years ago we hiked the most remote part of the Appalachian trail (100 mile Wilderness in Maine). It was 8 gruelling days, the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But my goodness the views on the mountain tops were stunning and the feeling post-hike was exquisite, almost addictive. It was the closest thing I’ve experienced to childbirth. I often think of the hike when I’m supporting clients; “A doula is like a trail guide, familiar with the path, she keeps you hiking through the hard parts, knowing the view at the end is incredible”
I know you can do this, one step at a time. I’ve got you, and it’s worth every beautifully challenging moment ❤️

Wanna hear a lovely story? Twin girls welcomed earthside almost 4 years ago, their parents were young and just starting out in life, financially things were uncertain. Previous clients of mine had generously donated a birth fee to a family in need and it was a perfect fit. Fast forward to now, the twin’s mom and dad are in a more comfortable financial situation and have paid forward a birth fee for another family in need. Simply beautiful. Message me if you or someone you know could benefit from this amazing gift

Did you know you can use your baby’s placenta to help nourish and grow a tree? This is Baby Skylar and her mama with her about-to-be planted tree from last fall. As baby grows so does her tree! What an amazing way to honour new life 💕
