Ground Yoga is an urban sanctuary dedicated to the development of healthy bodies, clear minds and open hearts through the experience of Yoga. Students are encouraged to sweat, enjoy and challenge themselves, as well as begin to explore their inner life on the mat, which inevitably echoes into life off the mat. Ground Yoga offers a diversity in yoga classes, as well as a wide range of teachers and teaching styles. Whether you are new to yoga or have an already established yoga practice you will find Ground Yoga to meet you where you are at, and to encourage and support you to move beyond. It is you that creates Ground Yoga. All of us are valuable, bright expressions of Spirit. We all deserve to be happy and healthy. Join Kristy for this afternoon workshop deep diving into all things Sun Salutations to refine your practice!

Sun Salutations are a vigorous pattern typically taken towards the beginning of class to warm and prepare the body for practice . They are first and foremost a breathing exercise designed to focus our attention.

They can be an excellent way to get out of your head and get into your body, breath, and therefore, the present moment.

These patterns do however many postures that can be challenging to grasp especially when moving quickly.

This workshop will break down classical sun salutations as well as Surya Namaskar A and B. We will focus on the postures within each of these sequences such as, upward dog, downward dog, chatarunga, and ashtanga namaskara and how to move between them!

Knowing how to execute these patterns and postures with proper and effective technique can make a world of difference within your practice and help to make it both more sustainable and meditative!

We will also cover how to adapt and modify the timing and the postures of the sequence to make it accessible to all practitioners!

🍂 From Late Summer to Autumn: A Time to Let Go 🍁

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the shift from late summer to autumn marks a powerful transition—from the Earth element (nourishment, grounding) to the Metal element (clarity, boundaries, and release).
As the days grow shorter and the air cools, nature invites us inward. It’s a time to let go of what no longer serves us—just as trees release their leaves—and make space for stillness, reflection, and renewal.

✨ Join Branden and Renae for a special Autumn Equinox Celebration where we’ll align breath, movement, and intention with this seasonal turning point. We’ll explore a Hatha yoga practice, breathwork, meditation, journaling and grounding practices to support emotional clarity and resilience. crozier R. Ac will guide reflections on this seasonal shift and offer supportive lifestyle tips from a TCM perspective! After our practice, we’ll head to 5 Corners for a seasonally inspired harvest meal! 🙏🏻 🍂

The fall equinox marks our shift together from the expansive yang energy of summer to the more introspective, yin, and balanced associations of autumn.

Just as the world around us begins to shed its leaves and draw energy inward, we can use this time to focus on letting go.

Sunday September 21st join Branden and Renae for a gathering including:

- a Hatha style practice with a focus on fundamental postures, and long holds of cooling postures to go inward,
- meditation to still the mind and connect to your heart,

As the sun sets and the world quiets, step into a space of stillness and support.
This 4-week prenatal series is a gentle invitation to slow down, soften, and settle into the rhythm of your changing body. ✨

Each 60-minute class begins with a slow, grounding flow to ease tension and encourage fluidity and stability, followed by deeply restful prenatal yin and restorative shapes.

Breathwork and mindfulness practices are woven throughout to guide you inward—toward trust, calm, and the inner wisdom that supports birth.
