Dear Families, Residents and Friends of Sunnyside,

We have seen an increase in the number of residents experiencing respiratory symptoms. As a result, Public Health has directed us to implement enhanced precautions at this time.

• One consistent family/support person may be present at a time.
• Alternates are permitted, if needed.
• End-of-life: There is no limit to the number of different family/support persons or visitors. Two may be present at one time.

These measures are in place to help reduce the risk of illness and protect the health and safety of residents, staff, and visitors. Precautions will be reviewed regularly and adjusted as guidance changes. We will continue to keep families informed of any updates.

Thank you for your understanding and partnership in helping us keep our home safe.

We’ve had a busy week here at Sunnyside!

We hosted a Children’s Christmas Party, handed out our wish angel gifts to every resident, enjoyed a dance performance, and painted pottery Christmas ornaments!

Thank you to everyone who helped plan, organize, and participated in all of these fun events this week!
