Let’s clear something up: IPL and Laser hair removal are NOT the same!
They both aim to reduce hair, but the way they work, the results you get, and their safety are very different
The only way to avoid being in an IPL hair removal cycle is by learning the difference between the two and choosing the obvious winner 💥
IPL uses a scattered wavelength and this is very important because the energy is not only being absorbed into the hair follicle, its also getting absorbed into the surrounding tissue and this is a huge problem especially for darker skin tones.
IPL targets melanin, and when the wavelength is scattered it will target any melanin it sees, even your skin’s melanin -> not ideal for darker skin tones.
Laser hair removal on the other hands uses a focused beam of light that goes deeper into the follicle for faster, safer, and longer-lasting results.
Of course we only offer laser hair removal and not just any lasers.. gold-standard lasers including the Alexandrite laser and the Nd:YAG laser for the safest and most effective treatments!
