I'll be honest, 2025 was a rough one for me. I burned down the business I loved, but then didn't know how to build it back up.

It wasn't because of a lack of love for it or my clients. It was from a place of confusion.

On paper, things looked good, but none of it felt good.

The way I was doing things was out of fear. And when we create from this space, it will always feel like something is missing. We keep chasing but never actually commit.

By going through this burn it down and reflect phase, I realized what was missing was BALANCE.

Funny, as that's my business name ๐Ÿ™ƒ

None of this is meant to be your whole life. It is only ever meant to be an aspect.

This healing work should work with your lifestyle, not against it.

It should feed your soul, so you are energized with your family and friends, at work, or as you explore your hobbies.

It should never replace those things.

Getting clear on โฌ†๏ธ that made me realize where the change needed to happen, not only for myself but also for my clients.

It's a balance of daily habits AND the occasional powerful healing moment.

I am just about done getting everything all set up. I can't wait to show you!!

It's not all pretty pink walls and tapping on heads ๐Ÿ˜…

First and foremost, I am a boy mama of two little boys. There's going to be lots of Tonkas and hot wheels EVERYWHERE. In fact, they are behind every corner in our house.

Secondly, I'm the wife of a motor obsessed mechanic husband.

If you don't see parts in our yard, you should be worried.

Every day, I spend 10 to 20 minutes in the morning doing mindful energy based exercises, and then again in the evening if I haven't passed out by accident. Otherwise, the rest of my free time is spent talking about trucks, boats, sleds, quads, cars,..... you get the point ๐Ÿ˜‰

Don't get me wrong, I love a good healing session or workshop, but unless you have a structure in place for daily practice, those sessions are time sensitive.

You get that big feel good hit and then you want another and another and another and before you know it you're spending 100s if not 1000s to keep that up, all while your friends and family question if you've joined a cult.

That's why I am going to do things differently. It is going to be accessible AND affordable, and it is backed by neurologists and psychologists. These leading experts in mindfulness, stress reduction, and growth all agree that creating a short daily habit is more beneficial and will lead to greater change in your life than that one retreat.

It's true, after a decade I almost quit my business.

Why am I sharing this?

Because it's normal to have doubts. It's normal to question what path you are on. It's normal to explore.

Because when you are equipped with the right tools, you will find clarity.

And โฌ†๏ธ THAT is the biggest difference between someone spinning their wheels for months, if not years in unhappiness and someone who takes a 3 week mental break and comes back feeling stronger than ever.

Balanced Living with Katie Bell 2.0 will be launched in a couple of weeks. But until then, book those healing sessions while there is still time.

I'll admit, I've been EXTREMELY quiet on here for the last few weeks. Tomorrow, I'll talk more about why.

But for now, let me tell you things are changing in my business BIG time.

I'm no longer going to do it how I was taught or how I see everyone else in my community doing it.

It simply doesn't work for me.

I'm going to be doing it VERY differently.

And they best part is, it's leaving no one out. It's going to be for everyone. Because wellness is our right as humans.

It's going to take a little time to get it set up in the backend, but I promise you it's coming.

Until then, book those healing sessions before they become offered only periodically.

When we are gripped in fear of being wrong, we can't even begin to hear what someone has to say and immediately turn it into a "they were mean" or "they just don't understand" sort of thing.

We turn our fear into embarrassment and shame, and our pushback becomes even stronger.

But if we can melt away that fear, create a sense of safety, and lean into the unknown, that is where success is found.

We've mislabeled defensive people as *ssh*les and the know-it-alls who don't take advice, but they are actually people with insecurities and are afraid to show their vulnerabilities.

Sound familiar? We've all been there ๐Ÿซฃ
