Today is the first day of September, ♍️ season, back to school season, so it feels like the right time to me to (re)introduce myself 💕

I’m Léa, originally from the south of France, I met my Canadian husband Darren in 2010 in Australia and he is the one who brought me to Saskatoon 😃
Darren is Cree and together we have 2 beautiful Métis boys, Jacques and Jules, both born in Saskatoon 💚
It is a big process for us as a mixed/international family to make sure our children understand and learn about their different cultures but we constantly try our best and we both know how important this is for their future💚

It was right after giving birth to my first son in 2016 that I chose to become a doula ✨My main reason for choosing this path was that I wished for every mom/family to acquire the knowledge and support they needed to be the leaders of their own journey ✨
I believe Parents can benefit from getting more educated on the process of birth to feel empowered as this is the first step to the rest of their lives as new parents.
We often forget how important this is for parents to start making the decisions for their children even before they’re born ⚡️

Ending my family stay in France in the most perfect way, an Ayurvedic massage in this beautiful spot 💚
I will be back in Canada in a few days with a full rested mind and heart and I already know that it will benefit everyone I love, including my doula families when I will take care of them 💚

We decided to add an extra hour to the workshop as we felt it would give us more time to really dig deep into the topics in class

It can be difficult to find the confidence to enter your birthing journey, we are humans and the one thing we often try to avoid is the unknown.
That is why it is really important to prepare both you, and your partner, to gain that confidence for the unpredictability of labor.
Every journey is different and everyone is able to find their own strength to get through it ⚡️

Sometimes the universe delivers in unexpected ways ✨ been looking at buying a pelvic bone for a very long time and last week I just got it gifted by another amazing doula (along with a ton of prenatal teaching material 🥹)
