What balance looks like for each individual changes throughout the stages and circumstances of our lives. Balance as a student, a young parent, a grandparent, or someone facing a major health concern are all very different circumstances. Each of these circumstances can come with vastly different priorities and stresses. Finding Balance Health and Wellness is here to support and help you find your balance for all of the changes and challenges life presents. We do this by combining the western scientific understanding of the mind-body connection with the eastern energy balancing wisdom of modalities like Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, to inform and activate the body’s natural healing capabilities. This combination of Eastern and Western knowledge allows us to address physical, mental, emotional and spiritual holdings in the body in a holistic and integrated manner allowing us to improve a vast number of conditions and situations. This area of study and practice is commonly referred to as Mind Body Medicine. Christina currently practices BodyIntuitive but is also trained in Accunect, BodyTalk and Reiki.

The last two years have been overwhelming as we have been bombarded with seeming crisis after crisis. This constant turmoil has created ongoing fear, anxiety, panic, depression, hopelessness and stress. If you are feeling any of these emotions or just plain wore out, this call is for you!

This Anchor Your Light Call is an opportunity to pause, ground and reconnect with your inner light or knowing. That internal compass that helps you navigate life from the heart, knowing what is right for you and what is not. Constant emotional turmoil can make it difficult to connect to or hear that inner guidance. During this call we pause and take back our power, connecting into our Divine heart, allowing us to live, love, and take practical action from this space. Knowing that as we anchor our light, we help to anchor the light in all and thereby increase the light and love on the entire planet.

The call will be approximately one hour and may involve activities such as meditation, card reading, breathing exercises or a group session. The planned focus for this call is to disconnect from the emotional overwhelm of fear and anchor into the expansion and joy of summer. For the call you will want to be in a space and clothes that you can relax and get comfy in. Having water at hand is also a good idea.

This was a great read! I had never heard of the term fawning before but it makes sense. It's an example of how when taken to an extreme something helpful can become hurtful. Part of the fight/flight/freeze response can be to befriend. Make friends rather than escalate the situation. Finding common ground and employing compassion and understanding can be great ways of resolving conflict. However, when we do that to an unhealthy extreme we hurt ourselves to please others. Maybe hurt isn't the right word, damage is what really happens but we are often so consumed by making another person happy we don't notice the abuse we are causing ourselves. I have crossed this line myself in both personal and professional relationships. This article helped give me some clarity on what crossing that line might look like and the pain it caused. I hope you find it interesting and informative as well!
