As Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month approaches, we want to begin an open and thoughtful conversation about Autism Spectrum Disorder by starting with a simple question: what is it?

Autism is a spectrum, meaning every person’s experience is unique.

Individuals may have different strengths, challenges, and support needs, and no two journeys look the same. When we take time to understand what autism truly is, we move towards awareness and acceptance.

Counselling is beneficial for everyone, but especially for those navigating parenting.

Parenting can be deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging, sometimes all in the same day.

Counselling offers a supportive space to strengthen coparenting skills, better understand your own emotions, and explore the highs and lows that come with raising children.

We offer low-cost and no-cost mental health, intimate partner violence prevention, and parenting services – including counselling and group programs!

You can also visit Parenting Education Saskatchewan for more parenting resources: familyservice.sk.ca/parenting-education-saskatchewan/

You do not have to figure it all out alone. Investing in your well-being is an investment in your children too. 💛
