This month, Canpotex volunteers, troops, and other sponsors came together to pack over 1,800 Canpotex Cheer Crates for distribution to 600 Saskatoon public school families whose access to resources like nutritious food, warm clothing, hygiene items, games & books are impacted by extended school breaks (like the Thanksgiving break).

Global food security starts at home, and we’re honoured to be able to support through our initiative and volunteer our time to help make the holidays a little brighter for 600 families here in Saskatoon.

Proper nutrition during the first year of life is crucial for long-term health and development.

This campaign aims to raise funds to purchase infant formula for the diverse families we serve. We’re also accepting donations of infant formula. Every donation helps ensure we can provide formula to families in need.

Over 41% of the individuals that we serve are children, highlighting the importance of this campaign.

Over the course of our , participants from around the world immersed themselves in the full Canadian experience.

From going underground where potash begins its journey, to standing dockside at Neptune Terminals, where millions of tonnes are shipped annually to over 40 global markets; participants witnessed firsthand the story behind this critical mineral that helps feed the world. This journey represents the time, energy and $3 billion USD Canpotex has invested in our supply chain to reliably deliver for our customers.

A heartfelt thank you to our customers who joined us, and to our supply chain partners who made each stop unforgettable.

A heartfelt congratulations to this year’s incredible graduating class of the Canpotex Fertilizer Management Program. 🎓

During the course of this adventure, participants traveled across three provinces, toured two potash mines, two rail facilities, one port, and one export terminal. They’ve also taken part in nine in-depth presentations and marketing sessions focused on the entire potash supply chain from mining and transportation to global export and agronomic application.

From our roots in Saskatchewan to our offices in São Paulo, Singapore, and Shanghai, our focus remains on strengthening relationships – with our customers, our communities, and our people.

We hope our customers are leaving with new insights, lasting relationships, and a deeper appreciation for the journey that Canadian potash takes from beneath Saskatchewan to farms across the globe. 🌎

On our last day of the Fertilizer Management Program, our participants learned more about Canpotex’s overseas markets. Thank you to Canpotex’s Matt Albrecht and Heloisa Mussi for sharing their marketing insights and expertise.

Potash is one of Canada’s most critical exports, and in many major markets it leads the way. In Brazil, for example, Canpotex potash alone represents nearly 60% of all Canadian exports to the country!

We are proud to play an important role in the food security of our overseas markets.
