Reiki is a gentle, hands on therapy that moves energy gently through you to cleanse, balance and harmonize the physical, spiritual/ soul and mental/emotional body. Reiki allows you to release past experiences old negative emotions that are stored in the body (anger, grief, sorrow, jealousy, fear) and release old beliefs that are staying in your way of moving forward in your life. Reiki can allow you to release the emotional which can cause you to let go of the physical problems. Reflexology is the ancient art and science of using pressure points on the feet, hands and ears to stimulate the healing and revitalization of the entire body. Reflexology helps to adjust the body's energy flow in order to keep the organs and glands in a constant state of balance. As well it can be very relaxing. What is a hot and cold stone treatment?? One of the most euphoric treatments I have ever had. But besides that, stone therapy uses hot and cold stones in combination with varying forms of bodywork. It also involves the application of thermo therapy, the deep penetrating heat from smooth basalt stones and alternating cool from marble stones, used as an extension of the practitioners hands while using relaxing strokes. Stone therapy goes beyond the physical experience of typical massage, and enters deeper dimensions of relaxation, health and well being, creating a positive approach to the 'body-mind-spirit' philosophy. It produces alternative sedative and re-energizing responses in the body. It also affects the sensory system, which stimulates production of nero-chemicals affecting the sense of well-being.
