Why I became a massage therapist? 🤲💆‍♀️

Growing up, I never really knew what I wanted to do. I had several different jobs, but none of them felt truly fulfilling. One thing I did know? I’m a doer—I don’t like sitting at a desk all day. I needed something hands-on, something that kept me moving.

I considered physical therapy, but going back to school for an additional 4 years wasn’t appealing. Then, someone mentioned massage therapy, and it sparked my interest. I grew up playing sports and knew firsthand how beneficial bodywork could be. At first, I thought I’d focus on sports therapy, but once I got into massage, I fell in love with the therapeutic side of it.

There’s something so rewarding about creating a space where clients can relax, feel at ease, and let go of stress. Whether it’s helping someone manage pain, unwind from a tough day, or simply take time for themselves, I love being a part of that process. Massage isn’t just about the physical benefits—it’s about feeling seen, heard, and cared for. And that’s what truly fulfills me. 💛

I also loved the idea of creating my own schedule. The flexibility of massage therapy was a huge draw for me… and now I work 24/7! 😂
