Hi everyone! Welcome to those who have joined our page here. Please feel free to share far and wide we can't wait to keep you all updated on our progress as this amazing project gets completed.
We wanted to let everyone know about an event we have coming up in a couple of weeks time, on Thursday, November 17th at 5:00pm. We will be hosting this at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library, at the NORTH Branch, in Program Room A. Tickets are required due to limited seating.
For any Northern Ontario folks who would like to join us, this event is being held to raise funds for Ontario's very first Birthing Hospitality Centre, set to be built out in Searchmont, that we are hoping to get built and open to the public by the end of 2023, fingers crossed. This event is a way to connect, have some good food together, support a worthy cause for all Ontario families to be able to access, especially Indigenous families who want to have more respectful and open options for their births other than simply having to be subjected to the forced abuse of the medicalized birthing system here in Ontario. It's also a wonderful way to connect with some local homesteaders and farmers as well, so that if you should ever need them, we can reach out to them directly and be able to help provide food for ourselves and our families through whatever comes our way. We hope you'll consider joining us for this wonderful fundraising dinner party as we gear up for the festive holiday season.
