The Ontario Finnish Resthome Association Providing a home for seniors with resident-centered care while prioritizing quality of life. We pride ourselves in being "Homes with a Heart".

The OFRA is a non-profit charitable organization founded in Sept. 1971. It originated with a group of Finnish individuals whose goal was to build a home for seniors of Finnish & Estonian descent. While OFRA continues to honor it's Finnish & Estonian roots, over the past 4 decades it has evolved into what could be described as a microcosm of the "Canadian Experience". Today the OFRA is a mosaic of diverse cultures, a retirement community offering safe and affordable housing to all seniors in the Algoma district. We operate under the guiding principle that each resident be provided with the best environment possible within which they are able to maintain an optimum level of functioning and maximize the quality of their daily life.

Mr. Bon Soo stopped by and filled our home with laughter, smiles, and great moments. Our residents had such a fun time together! It brought so much joy to our hearts to see them reach out to touch, feel and kiss Bon Soo. Thank you to Bon Soo for bringing so much energy and happiness to our day! 💛😊
