It’s been 2.5 years since I taught my last class….
I can’t convey how nervous I am to get back to it, but here it goes….

I am Medicine, watch me Heal” is my mantra, my purpose and my philosophy. “I am Medicine” is a reminder of how gifted and powerful we are to heal; it is our potential to heal, grow and change.
I believe in the power of our inherent knowledge and collective conscious to thrive as healthy, strong people and communities. I choose Health and Healing,
“I am Medicine, watch me Heal” is the philosophy from which these classes are offered and upon which I’m leading my life. My hope is folks feel reminded of their power every time they live this philosophy.
Born and raised in Sault Ste Marie, I live in Oneida with my partner and our daughter, Malala. I’m looking forward to seeing familiar faces and getting to know new ones.

PSA : due to the current Health climate I’ve had a few ques I’d like to answer for all of you
1. Classes continue as usual schedule
2. Class size will go down to 9ppl / class
I’ve rearranged the room to allow for only 9 mats 3 rows of 3 to provide a two foot distance around each person - the distance required to be immune from another’s ‘respiratory droplets’
3. Water station no longer offered - bring your own full bottle
* obvious statement re : hand washing and staying at home if sick / contact with anyone sick *
4. Hands on adjustments, therapeutic touch as well as hugs and handshakes won’t happen ☹️
5. Class sign up required < 24 hrs in advance for adequate spacing and set up see (see #2) * no penalty for canceling < 24 hrs *
6. Mats / props / weighs Soak mat after class 8-10 sprays - leave out to air dry - spray and wipe blocks, balls, weights. No straps during this time.
My mom has sterilized everything over the weekend

MOVEMENT MEDICINE: Thursday @ 7:30pm - Yoga for newbies and anyone wanting a restorative class. This class is safe and effective for those with chronic health issues such as vertigo, hypertension, Rheumatoid or Osteoarthritis, chronic back pain or mental health issues such as anxiety or depression. No extreme movements or vigorous flow; the focus is on safe, functional and mindful movement for chronic health treatment and prevention.
YOGA FOR BACK HEALTH: Friday at Noon - Creative postures to stretch & strengthen the posterior chain. Alignment & core strength will improve, back pain will diminish. A must for anyone with a sitting job. No experience necessary.
YOGA FUNDAMENTALS: Sunday at 10:00 am - Yoga for newbies and anyone wanting a restorative class. This class is safe and effective for those with chronic health issues such as vertigo, hypertension, Rheumatoid or Osteoarthritis, chronic back pain or mental health issues such as anxiety or depression. No extreme movements or vigorous flow; the focus is on safe, functional and mindful movement for chronic health treatment and prevention.
POWER YOGA: Sunday at Noon - A movement class for the body, mind & soul. Your muscles will love the long, lean stretch & strengthen from this intense Hatha yoga class. Designed to compliment athletic performance & physical training. Previous experience recommended.
Private Classes
Private sessions - one on one or semi private classes are available in the Movement Medicine Studio (117 Spring St.). Private sessions include a comprehensive medical and health review and plan of care. They’re 75 minutes in length, $65/class or 10 classes/$550.
