We 💗 seeing babies & kids at Schomberg Eye Care! Optometrists recommend your child's 1st eye exam between 6 and 8 months old👶. A child's eye exam looks different from an adult's eye exam. Your child doesn't have to be able to read letters or talk to get their eyes checked. We can also see children for common eye issues such as bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye). OHIP covers yearly eye exams for children age 0-19 as well as follow-ups in between. If you'd like to book an eye exam for your child (or yourself), contact us at
