A huge thank you to the entire TEAM at the Municipality of South Huron!

They helped us fix the long-standing entrance issue at our Exeter location—something that’s been there since Canadian Tire opened in 1983. As you can see from the before photo, vehicles were bottoming out and leaving scratches and grooves in the concrete.

Now, with the new sidewalk and adjusted entrances, everything is perfect. This is just phase one of our exterior makeover—more exciting changes are coming in the days ahead!

We ask that the parking lot stay open only for guests to our business as construction will be ongoing.

We’re thrilled with the progress—and so thankful to South Huron for being such a great partner in giving this building and property new life.

We had the privilege of taking part in honouring the beautiful life of Sue Riddell.

As soon as we learned of Sue's loving companion, Brody, we knew right away he had to be a part of Sue's visitation here in the funeral home and say his goodbyes to his wonderful owner one last time.

Grief isn't just a human emotion. Our pets feel it too and in these touching moments, you can see the bond that never broke—even in goodbye. Dogs, like human family members, sense absence, change, and sadness. They grieve in their own quiet ways, and just like us, they deserve the chance to say farewell.

After all, they’re not “just pets”—they're family.

🚧 Parking Lot Renovations Underway 🚧
While this may cause a little extra "navigating" (for you and for us!), we are excited to see our parking lot renovation begin. Additional signage will be in place to guide you to available parking, and we’ll continue to keep you updated here on Facebook as the project progresses. For now, the front entrance to our parking lot is closed, but the lot itself can be accessed from entering off Andrew Street (directly behind the funeral home) and coming (carefully) through the alley along the side of our building.

We truly appreciate your patience as we work to make these improvements!

Congratulations to the wonderful town of Seaforth and all the incredible volunteers on your 150th anniversary homecoming celebration! We know how much time and energy has gone into making this event a success, and we can't wait to see the town buzzing with excitement. Even though we've only been part of the community since 2019, we truly appreciate the rich history and are so proud to be here. Wishing everyone a happy, safe, and amazing homecoming weekend!
