Update: thank you to all those who have shown interest in taking on this guy. We have some people who have taken him home with them and we are going to see if he gets along with their family. Will repost if we need more help. Special thanks to Blyth boarding kennel who offered to give him a more enriched environment while awaiting a family - I super appreciate it.

To those mentioning he looks older; I completely agree with you! I at first thought he was older based on the grey on his face. His teeth do look younger based on the level of tartar buildup and his breed. Both tartar buildup and hair greying vary a lot from dog to dog so it is impossible to know for sure! Only an estimate.

Is anyone able to take in this lovely critter? His owner passed away suddenly and no family was able to take him. We don’t know anything about him, not even his name 🥺

The humane society is full and we are running out of options. He is going crazy living in a cage most of the day.

He has been very quick to warm up to us. He does seem scared of men. He has been okay with my 4 year old son but I was also very cautious about making sure he was gentle and slow with him. I do not know how he is with other dogs and cats.

He is in-tact. I am willing to help with neutering and vaccines if it will get him into a home. Hes middle aged at least.

Please reach out to us if you’re interested!

Sunny the Maine c**n is as large as an average mature cat at only 4 months old 🫣 Just look at those feet! 🐾

He’s going to be a big boy

Edit: Sunny is *not* up for adoption, he already has a loving home! He was just in for vaccines! Isn’t he cute though?

Sadie has been with the clinic for just about 3 weeks now, still looking for her forever home!
She has fortunately been able to live with a foster over the weekends and has been learning to live with other dogs- slow intergration has worked very well! We are thrilled to see her learning to be social and let her guard down. She has also gotten better with cats and even birds. She is easy to correct and hates to disappoint. Her favourite place has been snuggled up with a person on the couch or in bed.
Sadie has come a long way and we are proud of her progress.
Please reach out to meet this sweet girl!!

Still up for adoption!
We have temporarily named this sweet girl Sadie. She was able to go to a foster home over the weekend and we were able to learn a lot more about her! She is house trained, enjoyed a comfy bed, being covered with blankets, walks and lots of interaction and snuggles with people of all ages. We did learn that she is not good with other dogs or cats. So a home with no other pets would be best for her.
She has been amazing with people, very submissive, love seeking and truly would make the perfect companion. We have not had much interest in our sweet Sadie and she would love to go to a forever home.

Please reach out to set up a meeting!
