Thank you to all those that made our Indigenous Peoples Day Event a success!

We were welcomed at the start of the day with singing, drumming and dancing from our youth.

Followed by our craft fair inside the hall and our fun filled field with hotdogs, cotton candy, bouncy castles, a petting zoo, face painting and games!!

Calling all shíshálh Nation & Indigenous artists, vendors, crafts people and food sellers.
The shíshálh Nation Wellness Centre is requesting expressions of interest from shíshálh Nation and other indigenous artists and vendors, to hold a table at the National Indigenous Peoples Day Art & Craft Fair Event.

This could be food, retail items, art items, t-shirts etc.

Please ensure that your bid also includes the following:
• Your Name and Contact Details including email and phone number
• What you will be selling/showing?
• How many tables do you need?

Thank you to all who participated and stood with us today.

Come join us on Sunday May 4th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM to honour our Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls. The March will start at the corner of Cowrie Street and Ocean Avenue and back to Hackett Park bandstand where there will be speakers, vendors and a performance by our shishalh children and youth.

If you would like to volunteer (and get an awesome t-shirt) please meet at the Hackett Park bandstand at 9AM to get a volunteer posting.

Please come and help raise awareness and honour those who are gone and still missing.

We are running 2 full weeks of fun filled program this Spring Break for kids in Kindergarten through Grade 7.

Program will be running 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Friday for the two weeks. (Monday, March 17 - Friday, March 28, 2025).
