Living By Design Living By Design provides occupational therapy and interior design services in and around Vancouver

Tom graduated from the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program at the University of British Columbia. He is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists BC. He has worked in both private practice and for public health authorities developing a range of assessment and treatment skills across a range of healthcare populations. His special interests include: supporting successful aging at home; cognitive rehabilitation and home modifications. Outside of work, Tom enjoys running Bootcamps, enjoying the outdoors and watching his kids play sports. Mel graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology with a Certificate in Interior Design. She has worked on small and large scale residential and commercial design projects both in Vancouver and on the Sunshine Coast. She is an expert at producing stylish, yet practical designs. In her spare time, Mel enjoys jamming on her ukelele, playing ice hockey and hanging out with the family.

The film follows a cohort of young scientists and artists from around the world as they harness every aspect of creativity, humor, and compassion to lead the way toward hope and resilience.
