Hundreds of sweet, creative, handmade thank-you cards were created by children from Kinnikinnick and West Sechelt Elementary schools, and crafters from the Sechelt Senior Activity Center—1300 Valentines in total, to be exact—being delivered this week to all staff on the Coast!

Please join us in thanking health care staff for all that they do, from the bottom of our hearts...

Hog, who goes by the stage name Usually Trespassing, has generously donated $2180 to the Mental Health and Substance Use Unit at Sechelt Hospital. His gift represents 100% of the proceeds from the recent benefit concert he held at Roberts Creek Legion in memory of his brother Marcel L'Abbée.

His wish? "To help people in the same position Marcel was in. I also want to organize more tribute shows, maybe every year in his memory." Thank you Hog, your support and action has already started rippling through our community.
