We couldn't be more proud to partner with a business who not only supports our organization, but supports those with disabilities in our community who are looking for meaningful employment.

Light it up for !

October is Disability Employment Awareness Month, and is an opportunity to recognize and to talk about employment inclusion and to collaborate to increase inclusive hiring.

We encourage those in our community to light it up purple and blue on October 16 to show that inclusive and equal employment opportunities for folks with disabilities matters to you!

Just over one week away from our Business to Beers event, our Annual General Meeting, followed by our Bud, Spud, and Steak fundraiser!

Join us on Thursday, September 25 from 6-9pm at the Selkirk Golf Course!

Our AGM will take place first from 6-7pm, which is free to attend, followed by the Bud, Spud and Steak from 7-9pm. Tickets for the Bud n Spud are $25 and are available at Wishme

People First of Canada (PFC) is trying looking to reignite local chapters in rural areas across Canada and they are holding a session in Selkirk to connect with self advocates on how to get People First started/reignited in their areas.

This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about their rights, advocate for themselves and others, and enhance their lives in a multitude of ways.

We will learn about what kinds of resources PFC has available for them to use, and how PFC can be of assistance to groups.

Lunch and snacks will be provided and there is no cost to attend.

Registration is encouraged for ensuring numbers for lunch/ snacks.

Wow! We are overwhelmed at the success of our 5th annual Golf Tournament last week. Thank you again to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and golfers for making this the best one yet.

Thank you again to A Little Pizza Heaven for being our lunch sponsor, and congrats on your big wins at the end of the day!

Tomorrow is the big day!! ⛳️

A big thank you to The Water Shop for sponsoring our golf tournament, making sure all of our golfers and volunteers stay hydrated on the course tomorrow. It's going to be a hot one!
