🎄 Christmas Routine: Overeat First, Regret Later 🎄

Every Christmas Eve, my routine was the same:
Overeating at my other blonde sister’s house ➡️ overstuffing again at Christmas dinner ➡️ realizing halfway through I took way too much food.

That’s when negotiations began.
I’d pay my kids to help me finish my plate so I could still have pumpkin pie.
My son and skilled negotiator—quickly raised his rates from $1 to $5 when I offered him money to eat my potatoes 💸🥧

Over the years, we got wiser and narrowed the menu to what we actually wanted to eat.
This year was different though—we were sick. Different illnesses, same body wisdom.

Our bodies follow a routine to heal: 🔥 Fever to shut down the virus party
🦠 Mucus to trap bacteria
🧬 White blood cells to clean it all up

If our bodies rely on routine to keep us healthy…
maybe routine, not restriction, is what we should focus on in the new year.

✨ Not detox.
✨ Not punishment.
✨ Just support.
