Dear community members, our Eco-Centre only accepts used oil, antifreeze containers, oil containers and oil filters. If some of our community members continue to drop material off after hours or drop material we do not accept such as gas etc we may be forced to close the Eco-Centre permanently. We don't want to have to do this so please help us by following the guidelines and let's work together to keep our Eco-Centre open! This is our final notice.

Cypress Hills Ability Centres' Eco Centre Customers:

Please do not drop off materials, containers, or used oil after hours. We cannot take the chance of having an oil spill and cannot have potentially hazardous material sitting out unattended. If this continues to occur, we may be forced to close down our Eco-Centre. If our hours do not suit your schedule you may call the centre at 306-297-2776 and we will try to accommodate you by setting up an appointment that suits you better. Illegal Dumping

Dear valued Sarcan Shaunavon customers and community,

We have had an increase in illegal dumping of products on Sarcan, Shaunavon premises. We would like to remind the community that anything left on the premises without prior approval by one of our Recycling Technicians is considered illegal dumping and is grounds for prosecution. For Health and Safety reasons, as well to monitor our intake for unaccepted items, all paint and electronics must be recycled through the front of our Depot unless specified by a technician. We have lists of approved and unapproved paints/electronics from Sarcan and cannot guarantee recycling intake on everything you may bring in. Even if it is known as an accepted item, it still must be left in the care of a technician to adhere to OH&S and Bylaw. We cannot have items left outside or on our property without the knowledge of it.

With the towns "Free Garbage Transfer Weekend" coming up so quickly, we want to stress the importance of our policies to help keep our team safe and community clean. Our Sarcan Shaunavon Depot will not be open during the full hours of the "Free Garbage Transfer Weekend" and will not have a Technician in the Depot during the weekend hours. All recycling intake must be completed during our regular business hours of Monday to Friday 9:30am-4:30pm. Thank you for your consideration towards our team and community.
