Shawnigan Lake Meditation Community Let's sit together! I spent 3 years living at Green Gulch Farm and Tassajara Zen Mountain Center, both part of San Francisco Zen Center.

My name is Colleen Browne and last year I completed a 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teaching Training Programme with renowned US teachers Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. I have been meditating since finding my root yoga teacher Janet Stone in 2012, with whom I have done over 600 hours of yoga teacher training and travelled to Mexico and India. I have also attended several retreats with non-dual teacher Adyashanti in California as well as a 10-week immersion in Shaiva Tantra with renowned teacher and Sanskrit scholar Christoper Hareesh Wallis. I lived in the UK for 11 years following my passion for playing bass guitar, then spent 16 in California doing many and various things before beginning my spiritual journey. I moved back to BC in 2018 to care for my elderly mother and am grateful to be back home amongst the trees.
