A nice place to start a regular yoga practice, if you don’t know where to start, and want to stay at home, but still want to keep it local and close ✌🏽

Yoga is messy. So are mornings. So why not moosh them together and join me for a gentle-ish 30 minute practice this summer, on Mondays and Thursdays.

This online practice celebrates the messiness of life. We show up as we are, where we are. Often, I'll be in my jammies, coffee in hand, with bedhead and perhaps a dog at my heals - if I'm not in the yurt that is!

And we don't worry about what's going on around us. Occasionally, my international student was wandering about making her breakfast before school! It was winter and I practiced in front of the kitchen fire.

See ... messy.

It's not a class, it's a group practice. How does that work? I sorta lead by doing my practice and talking through it. We breathe, we move, we meditate. You modify as needed for your practice.

Shelburne yoga! 🫶🏼

Join Tamara for 2 hours of hot stone yin, where you will enjoy a slow practice of opening the body in various yin shapes while also encouraging opening and energy movement with strategically placed hot stones.

This session begins with an opening chant followed by breathwork after which we will explore our yin shapes. After savasana, we will end with meditation.

This session is limited to 6 participants, and payment is required to hold your space.

Investment
This workshop is offered on a sliding scale which allows you to choose a cost that suits your budget. Please choose an amount between $40 - $65. Payment is by e-transfer and must be received within 24 hours of registration in order to secure your spot.

Whether you are a new or seasoned yin practitioner, or a teacher interested in learning and practicing the subtleties of creating and holding a yin space, this session is for you.

Anyone can learn the poses, but it takes an understanding of what the practice can bring to the breath, body, and mind in order to facilitate the softening and yielding required in your, or your student's, practice.

Because life is about to get more expensive and more stressful, all February classes are now “pay what you can”.

I don’t want folks to give up on their studio practice because they can’t afford it.

But if you can afford the regular costs please consider doing so as it will help support those that cannot.

For guidance - I do pay rent and power for the studio in Shelburne!
