“I hear that train a comin’…” and it was headed straight for the Grand Hall at Grace Village! Today, we welcomed a much awaited Johnny Cash performance, to the delight of our residents. Thank you to Stephane Lee for his amazing performance, it got many feet tapping! We look forward to welcoming him back as Elvis next month!

Nous sommes ravis d'accueillir les nouveaux venus Sonia Patenaude et Maya Gandey, et nous sommes particulièrement enthousiastes à l'idée d'une représentation spéciale en plein air du Duo Sweet Memories dans le jardin de l'AB. This afternoon, Grace held a "high tea" event. Also known as an English Afternoon Tea, this is an old British tradition characterized by a light meal, usually consisting of finger sandwiches, scones, cakes, accompanied by tea. At Grace, we upheld this tradition and even took the opportunity to show off our fine china. The residents loved it! Shirley even went all out in her outfit. As she said "this is high tea after all!"

Cet après-midi, Grace a organisé un « high tea ». Également connu sous le nom d'« English Afternoon Tea », il s'agit d'une ancienne tradition britannique caractérisée par un repas léger, généralement composé de petits sandwichs, de scones, de gâteaux, accompagnés de thé. Chez Grace, nous avons perpétué cette tradition et avons même profité de l'occasion pour montrer notre belle vaisselle. Les résidents ont adoré ! Shirley s'est même mise sur son trente-et-un. Comme elle l'a dit : « Après tout, c'est un high tea ! »
