We are seeking to fill this role as soon as possible.

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors at the front desk, in person and via telephone, as well as appointment booking and other administrative duties
Duties
• Books and confirms clinic appointments; maintains clinic schedule
• Act as an information desk as patients enter or leave the clinic (e.g. directions, taxi requests, etc.)
• Validates/updates patient demographic information and issues registration slips • Creates charts and enters information for new patients
• Routes patients to appropriate nursing desk and/or waiting area
• Makes follow-up calls to patients and may book follow-up appointments as per physician request
• Copies and faxes general correspondence and other documents
• Performs other administrative and clerical tasks as necessary

Qualifications
• Completion of diploma or certificate program in a related discipline
• 2+ years related experience preferred
• Some training and/or experience in using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Or equivalent combination of experience

Synergy Medical Clinic is seeking the services of physicians looking to take advantage of working in a group practice setting. There are several advantages to group practice:
 increased financial security and a better control of lifestyle.
 better able to accept and manage financial risk
 efficiency in the utilization of staff and supplies
 spreads the burden of covering clinical care at nights and on weekends
 others manage the administrative tasks associated with running a practice
The clinic is part of the Sherwood Park-Strathcona PCN. We offer physicians an enriching, collegial and collaborative environment to provide care to a wide range of patients. Physicians are supported by a fantastic team of MOAs, receptionists and administrative staff that allow physicians to focus on care delivery. LPNs are integrated into the clinic to provide exemplary care to our patient population. The clinic uses the Wolf EMR for enhanced patient care.
Physician compensation is based on fee-for-service payments. Physicians must be licensed and eligible to apply for licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), their qualifications and experience must comply with the CPSA licensure requirements and guidelines.
