We are seeking to fill this role as soon as possible.

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors at the front desk, in person and via telephone, as well as appointment booking and other administrative duties
Duties
• Books and confirms clinic appointments; maintains clinic schedule
• Act as an information desk as patients enter or leave the clinic (e.g. directions, taxi requests, etc.)
• Validates/updates patient demographic information and issues registration slips • Creates charts and enters information for new patients
• Routes patients to appropriate nursing desk and/or waiting area
• Makes follow-up calls to patients and may book follow-up appointments as per physician request
• Copies and faxes general correspondence and other documents
• Performs other administrative and clerical tasks as necessary

Qualifications
• Completion of diploma or certificate program in a related discipline
• 2+ years related experience preferred
• Some training and/or experience in using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Or equivalent combination of experience

Synergy Medical Clinic is seeking the services of physicians looking to take advantage of working in a group practice setting. There are several advantages to group practice:

 spreads the burden of covering clinical care at nights and on weekends
 others manage the administrative tasks associated with running a practice
The clinic is part of the Sherwood Park-Strathcona PCN. We offer physicians an enriching, collegial and collaborative environment to provide care to a wide range of patients. Physicians are supported by a fantastic team of MOAs, receptionists and administrative staff that allow physicians to focus on care delivery. LPNs are integrated into the clinic to provide exemplary care to our patient population. The clinic uses the Wolf EMR for enhanced patient care.
Physician compensation is based on fee-for-service payments. Physicians must be licensed and eligible to apply for licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), their qualifications and experience must comply with the CPSA licensure requirements and guidelines.

COVID Immunization Proof

We have been getting a number of calls regarding getting a record of COVID immunization.

The easiest way to get this is to:

Go to the My Health Alberta web site https://myhealth.alberta.ca/ and create an account under MyHealthRecords.
Once you register, it takes 5 to 10 days to get a verification number in the mail.
Once signed up, the vaccinations are easily displayed.
The MyHealthRecords app for mobile phones is available on the Apple Store and Google Play Store.

This is the easiest and most effective way to get the records. You can even print them off at home from your computer.

Dear Patients of Synergy Medical Clinic, Synergy Women’s Wellness Centre and Synergy Medical Plus

EFFECTIVE August 2021

Alberta is moving into Phase 3 of the re-opening plan.

Clinic policy of requires that patients and companions wear a MASK for their visit. We want your visit with us to be as safe and comfortable as possible.

We are unable to provide a mask to all patients. You are expected to come wearing a mask or non-medical grade face covering of your own. A mask or face covering should not be worn by children under the age of 2 or by anyone with a medical condition that prevents them from safely wearing a mask.

Clinic patients with health concerns or seeking advice from their Patient Medical Home Physician

Patients should phone the office at the physician’s clinic as they usually would.
Our staff will book your appointment as normal.
Upon your arrival, check in with the receptionist so that they may ask you a few COVID related screening questions. This is for the protection of patients, staff and physicians. We ask for your cooperation in answering the questions truthfully. Our concern is for your safety and that of the clinic physician and staff.
Procedure for Regular Clinic Services

Patients must provide a cell number that will accept texts.
Patients will receive a text reminder 7 days & 48 hours before their appointment. Text messages will contain information on the time and location of your appointment.
PLEASE remember to wear a mask for your appointment.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this pandemic period.

SATURDAY Office services are still suspended during the pandemic.

Rest assured, we are here to support our patients and will do this to the best of our abilities.
